Are you a  Marketing and Creative Manager with hands on expertise in commercialising an apparel brand as well as full account management? Are you a strategic thinker who acts decisively and drives performance?
 

The Company:

We are recruiting for a privately owned British Menswear brand with a strong heritage of 140 years. Their garments range from classic to contemporary, with their own unique twist in between. Their Brand is iconic and holds a real story behind it. They are a collaborative fashion designer and consider themselves trendsetters. The business is experiencing a period of significant growth and is looking to capitalise on this moving forward.

The Role:

Support the BUD in the creation of the brand, identity and marketing through a multi-discipline approach harnessing the full power of PR, E, VM and graphic design to allow the range to be launched on a global basis to create equitable penetration in all markets. Support the implementation Account management approach, providing support and investment. Create a bespoke marketing/creative approach; defining a sector and target consumer to unlock an untapped need in the market (globally). Be a key element of the leadership team to help support and drive change; creating a highly effective Business Unit Model. Be seen as innovative and class leading for the industry; pushing the norms to create a truly “talked about” brand on multiple levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation account management process in all key targeted markets (from the 5 year plan); focussing on maximising all markets to “stage 5” accounts and setting a designation for the outlets: reviewing and updating this annually based on fit with brand identity balanced vs commercial return.
• Support the transition of our business over the 5 year horizon from wholesale led to retail led, delivering the uplift in contribution associated with this transition
• Manage marketing budget within +1%/ -10%; ensuring that phasing of activities and spend support the financial year phased forecast and appropriately underpins the 5 year model to deliver +55% contribution
• Ensure all “marketing” activities conducted are clearly validated vs ROI or “cross-referenced” ROI.
• Ensure financial best practise is undertaken at all times
• Create and rollout an identity; building on this to create a “front of mind” brand for consumers and wholesale customers alike
• Use innovative and unique channels to get to consumers and key wholesale customers alike; aligning the full power of the brand behind our commercial facing activities to provide the greatest synergy, ROI and brand image growth.
• Create a compelling, integrated PR calendar that not only addresses top of the pyramid but connects our “real” consumer to the brand driving brand “desire” and impacting the top line; including managing effective rollout of launches around the globe
• Create and provide a true unrivalled “end2end” brand experience for consumers and wholesale customers alike.
• Ensure that our web is fully optimised for market launches. Ensuring that it is fully interactive and positioned on all of the key applications.
• Lead the marketing team to create a “true” team; one that not only brings it’s individual expertise to the table, but one that can work together to provide a total marketing offering above and beyond what has been seen in the industry before.
• Form strong bonds with fellow members of the leadership team, enabling a challenging yet supportive environment in which to direct and guide the overall Business
• Hold regular “marketing” team meetings, to harness the total power of your team in helping to shape the creative and brand direction.
• Drive the development and “gap-closing” of marketing team to ensure that team is “exceptional”

You will be an experienced marketing profession with hands on creative flare. A passion for customers who thinks strategically and acts decisively, you will have a proven track record of driving responsibility as well as developing people.
