Location: Office based (Nottingham) with potential nationwide travel

Armitage Pet Care, a leading manufacturer and distributor of pet accessories and treats, is looking  to recruit a results driven National Account Executive to support the retail team in delivering sales and profit in line with company strategy.

Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, your excellent analytical, communication, presentation and influencing skills will provide key insights for the team and deliver growth for a selection of strategically important accounts you will have direct responsibility for.

Key responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day customer management ensuring the highest levels of service are maintained.
• Lead/attend regular account meetings to ensure delivery of set targets.
• Ongoing data analysis including Top 4 grocery and online.
• Management of key administration (orders, new line/promotional forms, price file updates, etc) in line with internal/external deadlines and processes.
• Maintain accurate product forecasts for key accounts.

Knowledge of Petcare is not essential but ideally you will have some experience of dealing with major national chains at head office level. The role would suit current NAE’s wishing to progress toward NAM level or equally individuals in Field Sales looking to make the step up.
