Job Details
Exciting growth opportunity with a business turnover in excess of £500m, opportunity to develop into new channels of distribution. Looking for passionate people manager who has also the ability to customer manage.
Experienced in managing full time large field SALES teams (100 people) at a senior level.
Experience in a Branded/Blue Chip FMCG organisation, ability to show a sound understanding of how an FMCG organisation works
Working knowledge of the Wholesale route to market, convenience and Independent marketplace as well as on-trade.
Have the ability to influence and drive a sales team’s performance through layers of management.
Ability to continuously improve and challenge the status quo of existing ways of working while formulating new creative solutions to improve and drive performance.
Have an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Preferably is degree educated or equivalent.
Experience in devising and implementing clear field strategies and KPIs
Previous experience of managing a large field sales budget
Able to give clear direction ensuring that the resource delivers the field strategy effectively
Evidence the ability to recognise and develop talent
Participate in senior review meetings and regularly communicate successes
You must have the capability to develop into a Field Sales Director position within the next 18-24 months.
