We are recruiting for a British Menswear brand with a strong heritage of over 100 years. Their garments range from classic to contemporary, with their own unique twist in between. Their Brand is iconic and holds a real story behind it. They are a collaborative fashion designer and consider themselves trendsetters.

The role

Due to growth plans and a recent restructure within the organisation, this has opened up an exciting opportunity for an “exceptional” individual to join the organisation within a senior level position. We are looking at recruiting a Head of Worldwide Wholesale to drive our total wholesale Vintage Business and create a truly global brand, acquiring equal market potential and penetration in each and every market that we operate within. This individual will need to be a natural born leader with outstanding communication skills and charisma to lead this team effectively. This is a brand new role within an equally new division. It will require someone whose knowledge of the international market is second to none.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsive for the preparation of sales budgets and growth strategies for wholesale worldwide markets

  • Feedback on market knowledge and requirements whilst managing expectations of customers and partners

  • With a focus on key markets, develop a cohesive approach to sales strategies ensuring international requirements are delivered on product and pricing.

  • Work with the supply chain team to ensure international requirements are fulfilled in terms of calendars and deliveries

  • Use innovative and unique channels to get to consumers and key wholesale customers aligning the full power of the brand behind our commercial facing activities to provide the greatest synergy (liaise with Head of Retail)

  • Ensure that our pricing architecture remains competitive, profitable and fully referenced market to market to ensure appropriate positioning at all times

  • Assess and monitor distributor performance versus targets and plans and take action to drive growth.

  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with new partners, renewal or termination of existing distributor partners.

  • Responsible for the seasonal international sample orders and all sales stock forecasts.

    The person

    To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate having a passion for customers whilst thinking strategically. You will be someone who acts decisively and drives performance. You will have a track record of working collaboratively with external partners to remain ahead of the curve.

    You will be someone who develops your people & the organisation within which you work.

    Ideally you will be educated to a degree level or have or equivalent experience.

    Essential

    It is essential that you have extensive experience of the branded fashion market and a minimum 3 years sales management experience within at least 2 markets. You will also need to have experience of managing regional international distributor and agent bases. Eg. Region of Asia / Europe
