Job Details

Our client, one of the largest and best-known heritage brands in their field in the UK, is seeking an exceptional individual to join them as a Business Account Manager.

Reporting to a Business Unit Controller, you will be responsible managing relationships with a number of key customers. Accordingly, you’ll need excellent judgment and critical thinking skills and a well-organised approach.

As Business Account Manager you will:

  • Set a strategy, plan and budget to deliver our client’s commercial objectives and implement budgeted sales, spend and profit measures
  • Create Joint Business Plans aligned to the customer’s strategy that delivers against external & internal objectives
  • Negotiate and deliver an annual promotional programme
  • Work with Marketing & Category to close distribution gaps, deliver New Product Launch plans and drive customer range review delivery and post review evaluation
  • Identify and plan to win new business and defend and retain existing business
  • Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts and ensure rigour of year-end forecasts.
     

You will have a track record as a BAM and excellent data analysis, planning and time management skills. We will also be looking for a proven ability to manage budgets and work collaboratively to produce accurate sales forecasts.

This is a great opportunity for a personable and influential individual to manage, measure and improve account profitability through skilfully managed internal and external relationships.
