My client is a well known and diverse food manufacturer operating globally. Due to expansion, our client is now looking to recruit a Category Marketing Manager to join the team in Lincolnshire.

As CategoryMarketing Manager you will operate across the full marketing mix taking a category management approach. You will be commercially astute, a strong influencer, involved in NPD and have gained experience in working in private label FMCG.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Reporting to the Marketing Controller, you will be heavily involved in devising strategy for the category
  • Take the lead in category reviews, providing rationale behind market trends
  • Ensuring NPD is supported by robust consumer insight
  • Initiate and implement market/ consumer led research, briefing agencies where appropriate


Successful candidates will:
  • Have gained previous experience in operating in FMCG, food and private label
  • Have demonstrable experience of operating across the full marketing mix
  • Be numerical and analytically minded, familiar with category management, including category range reviews, gap and trend analysis
  • Be strong communicators, able to communicate internally and externally at senior level
  • Hold strong commercial acumen and hold solid influencing skills
  • Be innovative, excited about NPD
  • Have a can-do attitude, passionate about food and committed
