What the job entails.
As the National Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering on sales, profit, customer investment and margin targets. You will be responsible for leading the growth of the retail account to deliver long term sustainable sales and profit growth. You will be given the autonomy to grow the account strategically but independently too. As the National Account Manager you will also be responsible for leading the development and management of trading and category management relationships with your customer to ensure optimal and appropriate distribution of all relevant products in the Top 4 Grocery account.
The successful National Account Manager will:
- Have current experience in one of the following roles: Customer Business Manager, National Account Manager, Customer Account Manager or equivalent.
- Have current experience within a Branded FMCG organisation
- Understanding and insight into Category Management principles.
- Have an understanding of Sales and forecasting processes
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
Our client is looking to pay up to £45,000 (may be some flex for the right person) + 20% bonus + company car or car allowance + pension + other exceptional company benefits.
This is a office based opportunity, with the expectation to be in the Midlands Head Office 1/2 days a week.
