Job Details
An unique opportunity to join an innovative and entrepreneurial food business, currently experiencing fantastic growth across the UK and International Markets.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will have ownership for the category vision and strategy across all key UK retailers, compiling short, medium and long term strategies to achieve fantastic business growth. There will be some initial line management of 1-2 direct reports and the size of time will inevitably increase as the business continues it's growth journey.
This is a leadership role encompassing vast levels of autonomy and exposure, and plays a pivotal position within the commercial team. From an external perspective you will be required to build key relationships with major customers, ensuring strong partnerships are formed to achieve win-win status.
In addition to the UK remit, the role also has exposure to International markets. The company are gaining listings now in multiple countries and this position also has heavy involvement in new markets.
This would be an ideal role for a current Senior Category Manager in a blue chip business looking for a more autonomous and entrepreneurial challenge. Candidates must have a excellent track record to date within the grocery channel and possess exceptional networking, communication and commercial capabilities. Experience in International category management / language skills would be hugely advantageous.
