Our client is a global food business with a portfolio of successful retail and food service products, global turnover in excess £1.8b and a UK turnover in excess of £100m they have seen 30% growth in the last two years – in this market that is something to shout about!
Unlike other businesses they are more versatile, focussed and ambitious. They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and control all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions.
But this won’t be like working for a large blue-chip corporation. They have a small tight sales and marketing team. You will have total financial insight and the ability to make fast decisions as you will have input to the UK business.
Due to this growth the team is expanding and we are looking for an experienced National Account Manager with development potential, to join their team. The primary focus will be to maintain and develop both existing and new business to achieve and exceed profitability targets.
They are looking for a sales professional who has the ability to develop a top tier grocery account and they must be a ‘foody’ and enjoy developing prestigious luxury products within the grocery industry, both branded and own label. Your account base will be managing a top 3 grocery account.
Ideal candidates, of graduate calibre, will have a structured sales training from a recognised FMCG company, backed up with a personable and tenacious approach to selling. Experience of working within technical and supply chain teams would be a distinct advantage. Self-motivated and ambitious individuals will find their commitment rewarded with career opportunities that are second to none.
