Category Manager – Tesco. Market leading branded FMCG business, providing category leadership with Tesco. £45-52k + benefits.

THE ROLE 

 

As a Category Manager, you will be fully responsible for a multi million pound portfolio of brands across key categories with Tesco.

You will lead the execution of the category plan. Develop and execute strategies to maximise range, space, location, availability and macro space incorporating all category growth levers including off-fixture space, P&P solutions – the 4Ps!

As the Category Manager, you will ensure tactics within the plan are executed in store.  Evaluate the impact & ensure that learning’s feed into future planning & activation across the channel. 

 

 

THE PERSON 

 

  • Current FMCG experience, within the multiple retail (Grocery/High St) sector.
  • Tesco experience is beneficial.
  • Track record of success within category management.
  • Firsthand experience of managing customer relationships.
  • Analytical and project management experience.
  • Strong communicator (written & presented) with good facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrable capability of applying category management thinking.
  • Basic understanding of the latest shopper / market insight techniques.
  • Degree educated.
