NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – Wholesale

Circa £40,000 basic + Car + bonus + benefits

Based: Home based, head office Midlands

They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and manage all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions.

But this won’t be like working for a large blue-chip corporation. They have a small but effective sales and marketing team. You will have total business and financial insight and be offered the ability to make fast decisions with all your inputs to the UK business.

In this high profile role you will be working with major wholesale groups and your principle focus will be to grow sales in specific wholesale accounts. The accounts are established but will require careful and persistent development to realise their full potential. Working with all decision makers within the selection and buying process the job holder will need to understand the needs of the business, it’s customers and consumers and how to meet these in all areas of ranging, pricing, promotion and overall category development.

You will be responsible for negotiating all trading terms and will have complete insight to your company’s operations in order to create profitable win-win proposals.

We are looking for a professional, passionate and hungry National Account Manager with current or recent experience of dealing with the wholesale sector.

You will be from the drinks sector, we are looking for an individual with a proven ability to form strong business relationships with the retailers, an excellent understanding of all UK supply chain elements, and the commercial acumen to convert all of this into profitable sales.

You will be graduate calibre, coupled with excellent communication skills and high levels of IT literacy and financial understanding. You are likely to have worked for a major branded supplier at some point in your career, but will be motivated by the opportunity to join a fast paced business where you can really make a difference.
