Our client is an entrepreneurial and fast-paced market-leading food business with a portfolio of brands familiar to us all.  They supply branded food products very much on-trend with today’s consumers and have enjoyed a prosperous period of growth over recent years.

Whilst much of this growth has been achieved organically, the business remains acquisitive and keen to secure additional brands where fast-growth opportunities are realistic under the right management.

In line with their growth strategy, the business has recently secured a new brand offering for its portfolio and is looking for somebody to spearhead its launch in to new UK customer arenas.

The product range and brand is widely recognised for its health benefits and convenience factors, and is very well suited to today’s health conscious on-the-go consumer.

Significant growth is forecast for the brand over the short-medium term and we are looking for somebody to strategically lead the development of the brand in the UK, with heavy focus on the grocery multiples alongside other possible customer channels.

The successful candidate will currently operate within branded FMCG arenas, with those stemming from well-known chilled/ambient food/beverage arenas being advantageous.  Exposure to Tesco and/or Sainsbury’s is again advantageous however not a pre-requisite.

You will have strong strategic ability, with a record of driving brand and profitable sales growth in grocery multiple arenas whilst operating within branded environments. 

You will have natural entrepreneurial flair and be keen to lead a £multi-million project of significant importance to the business.  You will be a NAM/SNAM level individual keen to lead a sizeable project will additional responsibilities outside of a typical day-to-day NAM/SNAM job.

The role will work very closely with the Sales Director and provide exposure to other SMT/board level key personnel in the business that are heavily supporting this project.  As a result, the role has clear opportunity to develop in to a more senior profile with man-management responsibility within short time frames.
