Retail Account Manager (North Yorkshire)

£25k to £35k + attractive bonus + car + benefits

My client is a Multi- Channel Retailer selling their products via 24/7 TV,

e-commerce and via the major retailers on the High Street throughout the UK and overseas.  

The over-all responsibility of the role: is to manage and grow sales across new and existing major retail accounts by delivering excellent customer relationship account management with effective sales and marketing strategies.

You will be expected to:

  • Manage a group of specific retailers – including negotiating to deliver commercial terms within the key account management team 
  • Achieve fiscal targets based on revenue / volume & gross margin
  • Ensure company performance is met in regards to service level agreements
  • Create a development plan by account to incorporate forecasts based on business and marketing plans
  • Create, develop and deliver multiple promotional campaigns with individual retailers that are consistent with business and marketing activities
  • Collate market intelligence within the retail environment and feedback to the business planning team
  • Provide weekly/monthly trading statistics measuring performance against target and forecasts and identify key trends
  • Communicate effectively internally throughout the business ensuring your account requirements are being met: this will include operations, marketing, finance and customer services    

Essential experience required:

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager in the retail sector
  • OR – A proven track record within retail (Buyer, merchandiser, marketing, store manager)
  • Ability to drive with a clean license
