An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to work for one of the UK’s leading suppliers of short shelf life branded and private label food products. The business supplies a wide range of impressive products into the Retail, Foodservice and Business 2 Business channels across 3 core product areas. Following on from many years of successful profitable growth my client has become one of the dominate players within the market. Following on from their recent growth and a pending internal promotion they are looking to appoint a National Account Manager to aid their future growth.

The role

As National Account Manager you will have full responsibility for a specific product area within the Coop and Morrisons accounts. You will be tasked with driving and developing year on year growth ahead of the key competitors. You will be working closely with the NPD, team to develop their impressive range of exciting products with the goal of increasing both revenue and profitability. Using your excellent relationship building skills, you will be expected to foster strong relationships with the customer.

Requirements

To be considered you will be an ambitious individual with strong negotiation and face to face skills and be capable of hitting the ground running in a fast paced business environment. In addition you will need to have a history of retail customers and have a proven background within the fresh produce industry. You must also have the ability to interpret data and negotiate contracts with key customers. The successful candidate will need to display commitment and the will to progress in a very forward thinking successful business.
