TERRITORY SALES MANAGER – Amazon Kindle Account

BASE LOCATION:  BASINGSTOKE (or within close proximity)

TERRITORY:  Southern Territory (incl stores within Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset & Sussex)

Channel Advantage is a technology-led, field sales and marketing agency, increasing sales opportunities for some of the leading technology, consumer electronic brands in the UK today.

Due to continued expansion, a fantastic opportunity has now arisen within the Field team for one of our clients; a leading e-book / tablet manufacturer.

Accountabilities:

As a Territory Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales within a designated territory of key retail stores through brand engagement, product training via USP’s, demonstration, merchandising and direct sales.

Pivotal to the role is to ensure brand awareness and education of the retail channel through effective training & message cascade; ultimately gaining the loyalty and trust of retailers, encouraging them to ‘sell’ and ‘upsell’ and creating ‘brand advocates’ within your stores.  You will ensure promotions and merchandising are implemented and maintained to the required level set out by the client and Channel Advantage which will further complement brand awareness and support sales increase.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of the PC & IT marketplace, alongside a genuine interest in new technology / IT
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport easily
  • Previous formal training experience and the ability to break down complex messages and deliver them in a simple and effective way
  • Experience of managing and developing a territory and effective journey planning
  • An ability to apply knowledge with initiative and without supervision.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • To be considered for this role, you must be located within the territory.

    Salary Package:

  • £21,000 increasing to £21,500 after successful completion of 3-month probationary period.
  • £2,000 performance related bonus
  • 21 days holiday
  • Fully expensed company car including mileage

  • Branded uniform

The role is a full-time, five over seven day contract.

*Primary working hours are 9am – 5.30pm; Monday – Friday.  The successful candidate will however be required to also work some weekends and evenings at the request of their line manager and the client.

*Actual working days are subject to change at the request of the client.
